IBACH’s trainee and student in the SDSU/UCSD Joint Doctoral Program in Public Health, Lilian Perez, was awarded a Research Fellowship Grant from the NIH National Cancer Institute. This award will fund her dissertation entitled Ecological Analyses of Physical Activity Correlates which examines individual, psychosocial, and environmental moderators of physical activity. Lilian aims to better understand how factors at multiple levels of influence interact to influence physical activity and behavior change among adolescents and adults from diverse geographical contexts. Her research can have important implications for informing future multilevel interventions to promote population levels of physical activity. Congratulations Lilian!
