Dr. Heather Corliss – A “Portrait of Courage”

Dr. Corliss has conducted research on a wide range of health-related experiences including childhood maltreatment, bullying, family relationships and social support, substance use, obesity, weight-related behaviors, homelessness, reproductive and sexual health, and mental health. Over the past three years, Corliss has improved the quality and interdisciplinary nature of research in SDSU’s health research programs. Today she made the cover of the fall 2016 issue of 360: The Magazine of San Diego State University. Her story is the first of four “Portraits of Courage,” a series featuring courageous Aztecs who fight to make the world a better place for themselves, their families and their communities. Read the full story…
