Amanda Patron, B.A.

Photo of Amanda Patron, B.A.Ms. Patrón is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Project Manager at the Institute for Behavioral and Community Health (IBACH) at San Diego State University.  She has over 10 years of research experience working primarily with the Latino community in San Diego County, Imperial County and San José California. Ms. Patrón obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and French from San Diego State University in 2014.

She has experience in coordinating research evaluation programs, leading program workshops and conducting process and outcome evaluations. This has included the development of data collection instruments and their associated protocols and trainings. She is currently the Project Manager for the Oral Health Behavioral Social Support Study (OHBSS), a NIH-funded study at IBACH in both San Diego and Imperial counties. The study is collaborating with two community health clinics; Vista Community Clinic in North San Diego County and Clinicas de Salud del Pueblo in Imperial County. Ms. Patrón is a liaison between study and clinic staff, holds responsibility for the development and implementation of study activities, supervises personnel, oversees staff training as set forth by the Recruitment and Evaluation Coordinator, manages budget and performs other supervisory tasks.
